High-quality insulation backed by international accreditation

At Isotherm, we know that it’s not enough for us to tell you that our eco-friendly insulation is designed to deliver the highest quality and performance possible. That’s why we ensure that all our insulation products meet various international safety and performance standards, so you always know you’re getting the best from your Isotherm insulation.

We are always looking for new and better ways to provide the ultimate in eco-friendly insulation solutions, and our accreditation process is no different. Our products are tested, certified and endorsed by leading international organisations, ensuring that it meets all building requirements.

We are a fully-accredited member of the Thermal Insulation Products and Systems Association SA (TIPSASA) and Isotherm’s thermal insulation is Agrément South Africa certified. Furthermore, Isotherm passes all criteria covered by SANS1381-1:2013, which governs the appropriate materials for thermal insulation of buildings.

Our quality assurance even takes place at a factory level. All facilities of our parent company, Brits Nonwoven, are ISO9001:2008 quality system certified, and are in the process of officially obtaining the ISO400:2015 environmental system accreditation.

Beyond being non-toxic, non-allergenic and eco-friendly, our insulation boasts incredible fire resistance properties. Isotherm complies with SANS10400 and is tested in accordance with SANS428, showing that it does not support the spread of flame, nor does it smoulder when coming in contact with fire.

So why aren’t we SABS-certified? SABS accreditation is neither a requirement nor a specification for the insulation category that we work within. And with international accreditation, we know that we are producing thermal insulation that meets global standards of safety and quality. Our focus on international standards ensures that we remain at the cutting edge of the insulation industry, giving you the best possible insulation for you and the environment.
