The mask or filter is not a replacement for medical grade protective equipment. This is a protective product for public use only. If you require medical grade equipment, consult a healthcare professional. The mask and filter comply with the Recommended Guidelines for Public Face Masks, issued by the DTIC – Version 24th April 2020. These guidelines incorporate the WHO Bulletin recommendations for Public Face Masks – issued on 29th March 2020.
Face masks are not intended to replace other recommended measures to stop the community spread of COVID-19, such as social distancing, washing your hands and refraining from touching your face. Follow the advice of the Government and your own healthcare professionals for the best directions to keep yourself safe. Observe all recommended protocols, as well as wearing your mask for best practice.
Be mindful when wearing masks if you have lung disease, such as emphysema, or chronic heart disease. Stop using this product if you notice difficulty breathing while wearing it.
Care has been taken to ensure that all raw materials in the masks and filter are hypoallergenic and that there are no harmful substances used according to the material safety data sheets. However, it is possible for some people who have sensitive skin, to develop allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) due to polyester and latex content. Should you have a tendency for ACD with polyester and or latex, care should be exercised to ensure neither the mask nor filter cause a reaction. Should any rash or other skin reaction appear, remove mask and consult a medical practitioner.
Children should be supervised by an adult at all times when wearing a face mask to ensure safety. By choosing to wear our face masks, an individual acknowledges and assumes all risks, known and unknown, associated therewith.
